StumbleUpon

Today's addiction:  StumbleUpon. It's not perfect (difficult to add friends once they've been invited). But it's useful and inspiring. While I'm not a huge fan of additional tabs and bars in my Firefox browser, this one (above) can stay.

It's a great way to quickly experiment, to taste, and learn. Even more intriguing is, similar to iLike (another addiction or obsession), is the recommendation "engine." No need to send around URLs and such when Stumble collects and sorts my friends' "I Like It!" votes and funnels them my way.

I'm hooked.

UPDATE (6/1/07): eBay buys StumbleUpon. "eBay ... isinterested in 'pioneering new communities based on commerce andsustained by trust,' said Michael Buhr, senior director, eBay."
