From a Twitter to a Roar
The phone rings, you have a conversation, and suddenly you've agreed to make a presentation for a conference. And so it goes.
On Friday, April 25 I'll be presenting, "From a Twitter to a Roar: Engaging Clients and Customer Through Interactive Communications" at the Minnesota Women At Work conference. Hat tip to my friend Kristina for suggesting me.
Now let's be honest here: I didn't name the presentation, or write the initial description that's currently on the site. But I dig the premise.
"Today there are endless channels through which you can engage anaudience. But how do you translate all that face time into realresults? In this workshop we'll discuss how to move beyond talking at people, in order to use the dialog channels created through technology to talk with them instead."
I'm looking forward to doing the research, assembling the Keynote and running it down. I'm definitely going to design some participation into this event. I'm thinking everyone creates a Google Alert for their company's name to start. Maybe we'll all join Twitter. Or use drop.io?
We're going to talk, and listen, then do.
